with regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health TOWNSHEND HOCKEY Pre-College Combine - $799Every June, prior to the NHL Draft, the best 100 draft-eligible players from all over the world are invited to Toronto, Canada to perform a battery of tests for NHL Gm’s, Coaches and Scouts. It is truly a mind-blowing experience as these young men are “Interviewing” for future employment at the tender age of 17. The results are processed and distributed to all 30 teams and based on what is seen a young man’s dream is either granted or vanquished. At Townshend Hockey we are committed to helping deserving young athletes realize their goals and dreams by helping to facilitate programs that help place young players in front of college and pro scouts and recruiters armed with the information they want. The NHL had led the way in the hockey world with just such a program and now Townshend Hockey is offering you the opportunity. This program will teach you the vital defensive concepts that coaches are demanding and the very skills I was hired to teach the San Jose Sharks and now the Toronto Maple Leafs. Are you being taught these skills? What test do the coaches and recruiters want? The program offers a 6 week pre-camp training program designed by an NHL strength coach to help you perform well on the tests. Testing includes; 40 foot transition skating drill, bench press, chin-ups, log jump and much more. We will bring in Mike Potenza the strength coach of the San Jose Sharks and Anthony Belza (the only NHL strength coach to actually play pro hockey!) to put you through the same procedure as the NHL pre-draft combine. The results will be tabulated and certified by NHL Strength coaches! We will then distribute them to your 5 college choices in North America along with a written evaluation from me, Graeme Townshend Take charge of your future and be prepared. See you at camp. Regards,
